I've been looking into this more and more. It's pretty cool stuff!

Here's a couple of links just from tonight:

Impossible is only a word

Anyone have any thoughts on the benefits and drawbacks of this kind of training? Seems like it might require less equipment. Seems like it would be in line with martial arts training. What about the relative frequency of injury with weight training vs body weight training?

I'm not giving up one for the other, I just like to explore!

I can't offer anything useful to you but some of those body weight exercises look insane.

Anyone who can pull off a 'flag' has my respect forever.

I've started doing some crossfit stuff so maybe in a year or two i'll give it a go.

Cheers

It's convieninent and if done correctly there's no reason why you couldn't get a beastly physique (think gymnist). It's all in the leverage.

So since this is inline with a new concept I have which will result in more sleep for me, I decide screw it, I am gonna learn the handstand!

So I start practicing. No trouble. Not sure how close I am getting so I set up the ole webcam and observe. So not even close.

Damn, I better kick harder. Up I go. Oh much closer! I try again but I come down on an angle. My computer desk is RIGHT beside me. My thigh smashes into it. The brusie took aprox 1 minute to form. hahhaha

Good times.

Og.

Og you should find yourself a six year old girl to teach you how to do a handstand.

They make it look so easy.
