Default Feet Pointing Outwards

My feet point outwards when I walk or stand. Should I be concerned?

It's been like this for as long as I can remember.

Classic sign of weak hip external rotators-specifcially the glute medius. Chances are you have supinated feet also. What activities do you participate in?

I play soccer from the age of 6, I lift weights (almost 2 years; squat dead, chin, row, bench, military), and I have sex. I am 24.

If supinated feet means I am walking on the outer edges of feet, then yes I have that. I am also bowlegged.

Do I need to correct this? How do I go about this?

Typically with my clients, I address the glute medius as the initial corrective action to take, simply for the fact that the GPC that I deal with are seated throughtout the day and demonstate weak gluteals. I usally start with:
  • Hip Bridges
  • Bird Dogs
  • Fire Hydrants
Than move on to:
  • Lateral Band drills
  • Quadruped Butt Raises
  • Frontal Lunges
Clients are then instructed to perform daily:
  • Integrated Hip Flexor Stretches
  • Foam rolling
Should you correct it? yeah, I mean sure...you wanna get good at sex don't ya?
