Default Enough to keep the muscle?

So, the only things i can do for my injured foot is pretty much hyperextentiones and calf rises. i do 3 sets of 12 for both, is that enough? should i rather try to add some weight and do fewer reps?
i also do pushups, pullups and step ups with the non injured foot.
for the hypers i just wedge my feet under my desk and i have a small dresser i lie on.

From my experience calfs respond to extremely high volume training. Hiking, being heavy, biking all seem to do much more then stuff in the gym.

On the bright side, they also seem to stay their size without work. Look at how many FFB's are around with large calfs.

I would say increase your volume to be safe on the raises.. but dont worry about it to much, its just calfs.

yeah.. but how about the hams? i cant really work my quads, but since i can do hypers i kinda want to keep my hams up so i dont loose so much strenght and size.

and you must be right about the calfs, ive always had pretty big calves compared to the rest of my body, and ive never worked them directly, but i walk alot uphill.
