Any idea/advice/suggestions on how to lose weight fast?

Read up on "Adam's Diet" in the nutrition/diet section.

About a year ago I lost 30lbs in a month or so with a decent cardio/light lifting program.

just dont get too hung up in the whole fast thing. If you loose weight too quickly you risk loosing alot of muscle aswell as fat.
