Has anyone ever tried to perform that? What position must my knees be? Any points so that I can make good gains?

As I do them, my legs are locked out and you just flex or move your foot up and down to move the calf. Not all that weird if you've done any other calf excersises (seated, standing).

I would have my legs basically straight, but not locked out.

Are they straight or are they bent? Bent = soleus, straight = gastrocs.

Why are you guys doing calves on a leg press anyway? Try doing explosive clean pulls from the floor and tell me how them calves feel the next day.

Simple. RR&D has calf presses and no cable machine has enough weight for me .
