Max-Out Radio Unleashed!
To my JP Fitness Family,
After hours of muddling through audio editting software, dreamweaver, blogger, and feedburner - Max Out Radio has arrived!
Head over to MaxOutRadio.com to check out the new fitness/nutrition podcast that I will be hosting and producing. Our first guest was the one and only Dr. Jose Antonio.
You can check out the show at
http://www.MaxOutRadio.com
or subscribe by entering the following feed into itunes.
http://feeds.feedburner.com/maxoutradio
The show is most likely going to be biweekly due to my schedule and other projects. I'm still ironing out the kinks but I'm very happy with the first show.
P.S. The website is functional but it still needs some fine tuning so bear with me. And I sort of had a cold when I recorded the show so if I sound a little stuffed up that's why.

Mike, the mp3 on the site is only 8 seconds long.
Great sound, though!

Glad you liked it. I thought Dr. Antonio had some awesome stuff to say especially in regards to scientific research and the supplement industry.

It isn't available through the itunes store yet but you can do it manually buy going to the "advanced" menu in itunes and clicking on "subscribe to podcast..." paste in
http://feeds.feedburner.com/maxoutradio
and hit okay and you'll be all set!
Enjoy!!!

Enjoyed the show Mike. My favorite parts were actually your news articles. Giving people options for what to eat when they can't get their spinach was great. I like spaghetti squash too! In my house it has to pass the Husband Test instead of the Girlfriend Test. :p
The trial of kids given fish oil supps for three months and then doing better on test scores was very interesting. It will be a big leap for a government to actually provide fish oil supps to students, but what a great idea.
I did not know that algae is the original source of omega-3 oil and a supp from algae could be very useful.
You have a great voice for a radio show and the sound quality of the show was very good. You're easy to listen to.
I liked the recipe fix a lot, but I think it could be shorter. I'm going to have to go to your website to get the recipe anyway, so just pique my interest and I can go read it.
Your last questions for Dr. Antonio were very good too. His favorite three (or five) supplements and his least favorite three. It was interesting to hear what someone so knowledgeable had to say.
Great job on the first show! I expect they will get better and better. I think it's hard to make nutrition topics interesting, but you did a very good job!

Hey Mike, great opening show! I had no idea you were starting a podcast, but you've definitely got the hang of it already.
Do you have it up on iTunes yet?

John,
Thanks buddy! I'm glad you liked it. I've been throwing the podcast idea around in my head for quite sometime but just have been continually putting it on the back burner. I'm not up on itunes yet. UpNorth is going to help me with that one.
