Whats a good rep goal for EDT?
I have been doing EDT for past 2 weeks now. I remember reading to shoot for around 50 reps. However, I've run into a question that hopefully someone can answer.
This week I am repeating my workouts. I went from 50 reps to 60 reps in most lifts, which is my 20% increase.
My question is this. I can't see myself being able to sustain a rep scheme of 50 reps and then get to 60, increase weight, do 50 then go back to 60 , etc etc.
At some point the weight has go to increase enough to where I wont be able to do 50 reps in the amount of time required.
So is there a lower limit on amount of reps that I need to abide by?
For instance I do a certain weight at 25 reps. The next week I get 35 reps. Then I increase the weight again, but say I only get 20 reps. Do I work up to a 20% increase on 20 reps or is it the 25 reps plus 20%?
Eventually my reps are going to get lower since my weight in the lifts will increase. I just am wondering whats the lowest amount of reps I need to shoot for.
