Default anyone using box jumps in their training?

I've started messing around with a few sets of box jumps thrown into my workouts recently. They feel great, and I've definitely started conservatively. I'm using an 18-inch box, doing sets of 10 or so.

I'm really enjoying them, and wondering how best to employ the technique in a workout. I guess somewhat obviously it's an explosive movement, probably in the plyometric genre, I suppose.

Anyone else using this movement, if so , how?

Thanks.

I use them all the time. We have been doing lots of external loaded (weight vest) stuff with them along with things like DB power clean + box jump hybrids. Just make sure that you are not using too high of a box....those bad-boys will eave a mark when you don't make it!
