Default Salt and during workout shakes

Would it be advisable to add salt to my workout shake? If so how much? I'm thinking of doing this to prevent muscle cramps during and after training

I wouldn't recommend just adding salt to your workout shake, however your body does need salt in order to fully hydrate. If you have salt in your diet you should be ok.

Is muscle cramping a continual problem for you?

narh, just that when I went to NROL's ST 1 for the first time last week I had really bad cramps/DOMS for the whole week. However, this week has been fine.

My daily salt intake is about 1.5g-2g. Is that adequate?

Is sodium intake directly related to this? Or is it sodium intake related to potassium intake?
