Default Painful inner thigh on deadlift

I'm doing NROL's ST 1 and my legs have been having DOMS since monday's squat day. Today's normal deadlifts felt a little funny as I can feel a painful pulling sensation on my inner thighs/hamstrings area, as if it was very tight. I worked through it thinking that it might just be a some residual DOMS. Is this ok???

on a side note is it ok to do RDLs with a mixed grip when my grip fails?

Mixed grip is fine...

So is working thru DOMS. As long as it's not painful to the touch, you'll be ok. If you're excessively tight, you should be doing some dynamic stretching and foam rolling prior to your workout, and static stretching afterwards.

Tightness/pulling is fine to work through, as long as it's not severely restricting motion. If it's painful, it's NOT ok to work through, you have to know the difference. And if you continue to have DOMS that long every week, there's most likely another problem, DOMS should diminish as your training becomes consistent.

DOMS was gone this morning. the tightness of my inner thighs is there but less today. My quad DOMS is strangely relieved by doing deadlifts....
