Hey guys, I'm starting to cut now, but I just wanted some critiques on my program just to make sure its aright...I recently changed my program and started using one of the 4 day splits i found on the forum:

Monday (chest/bi & abs)
Tuesday (shoulders & abs)
Wednesday (rest)
Thursday (back/tri & abs)
Friday (legs/forearms)

Plus I do 20 mins of cardio and the end of each workout at 60-70% of my HRM. Is this over training? is the cardio doing more bad than good? any suggestions would be appreciated....thnx

ummm....i dunno...it was a sample of someone's 4-day split. I took it and just re-arranged the days, because i like doing legs on fridays.

It would probably be best to choose a premade routine, I would suggest doing something off of Ben's List

What's the rep scheme?
Have you looked in the Fitness FAQ Forum? I suggest looking there and looking at Ripped Rugged and Dense 2.0, because it looks fairly similar to this.

If you don't end up doing RRD, put your biceps with your back and triceps with chest. And why are you doing forearms with legs? Just add in some grip work on your back/bicep days and you can throw some in after your deadlifts. (I assume you are doing deadlifts)

EDIT: Listen to Bobby. I hate cross posting.

You're hitting your delts the day after doing chest.

Bad idea.

As someone else said, pre-made routines. Men's Fitness every month always has a good routine by Allwyn Cosgrove, Craig Ballantyne and/or Chad Waterbury. Chad also has routines at www.t-nation.com, click on archives, then scroll through 04 and 05. You could just do the Men's Fitness routines, and every time a new issue comes out, change to the new one. That way you are changing your routine every 4-6 weeks.
