I posted an earlier topic about back workouts. I have some bad (I believe especially my right side) scap winging. I have uploaded some pictures. Do you believe that this scap winging can be corrected by proper strengthening?

I should note that in the picture showing my back, I have extended my arms out in front of me to give you a good idea of what lack of control there is with my scaps when my arms are extended in front of me.

I am aware that I need to change things and am looking for additional guidance.

My current routine:

Mon- 3x10 of cable rows, t-rows, rear delt machine and chin ups. also do situps and back extension

Tues- 3X8 bench press, 3x8 incline db press

Wed - legs

Thur - dips, curls, tri extension

Fri - front raises, lateral raises, shoulder shrugs,

I have printed those links off and read them as well having taking the advice you have given thus far to heart. I am wondering if the winging I have in the one picture is really bad and/or truly correctable with strengthening w/o a thereapists help.

You can most likely fix it without actually therapy, but how severe it is, I can't tell you. Try taking a pic from the back with your arms relaxed at your sides, that will be a better indicator of scapular winging.

I have posted a pic of my back with arms at the side. Hope this helps.
