First ever max attempt. No spotter, no pins, no way to dump, so I kept my ambitions in check.

I've never done 1RM on the deads, but my previous 5RM before my hip injury is 130kg(286lbs), so 1RM should be 322lbs, so...

322@158lbs(2.04)

put me up for 465 p/l style, the elusive 500 is right around the corner.

I'm able to hit parallel without my heals raised, so I'm in now. And, if I put myself on the list, I'm sure I'll try harder.
