I don't see the point. Sure, balancing on the ball is a cool trick, but are you going to enter the circus? And the weights he's lifting in those pics are pitiful...I'm surprised they aren't pink.

On a positive note, that's a pretty cool chin/dip station in the one picture.

I wonder how many time JP was asked that.

If I remember JP was doing a lot more than this guy with his little 10 lb DB's.

What real world application is there to squating or doing presses on a ball? I don't see where I'll ever be in those situations.

Circus performer but then he would have to juggle those DB's.

first off I can't emphazise how TRAINABLE these swiss ball movements are. The first time i tried to get in a two-point (knees) i almost killed myself. Within an hour I was stepping up onto the ball and doing full squats. Once you're on top, it doesn't take a whole lot of balance to stay there. Holding DB's at your sides actually makes the squat easier since they are helping you lower your center of gravity. BTW, i HATE it when i see this type of shit in the gym, some guy doing cable cross-overs etc. standing on a ball.....doesn't anyone realize that the cables actually help counter balance?? Essentially, it is VERY hard to lose your balance when holding onto the two cables. BTW, i actually haven't seen anyone standing on aball in my gym for a few years now...

BTW, this was posted in the thread....
