Damn it feels good to be back at it. Following Bill's advice I am not going hard at it, but just getting moving after a nearly 3 month layoff is such a change. It has really only been two workouts, but it just feels like I am back in my groove already. I think it will come back pretty quick if I don't get in a hurry. I have pretty much a lifetime of regimented workouts and muscle memory to tap back into so I don't think it will take long. By the retreat I should be close to fighting weight.

Way to go! Glad to hear you're back on track. How far off are you? What tact are you going to take to get there? I'm interested in what the approach of a fitness professional would be so that I could learn from it.

I don't weigh myself so I don't know how many lbs I've gained but I've gotten noticably larger around the midsection... and it's really pi$$ing me off! As soon as the gym opened back up, I hurt my back so I still haven't been able to go at it but I'm trying to move whatever parts I can, when I can.

My wife is reading her Atkins book again but I've never really used that approach. I like my fruits and veggies too much so I am trying to just control the number of calories I take in. GLAD THE HOLIDAYS ARE OVER!
