Default Push/Pull Routine Question

I am currently doing a two day split - push/pull routine 4 days a week. I am doing higher reps (8-12) two days, and then lower reps (3-6) the other two.

My questions is, on my lower rep days I'm not sure I see much purpose in doing lower reps for the isolation movements. Would it be better to do the lower rep movements on compounds only? When you guys do lower rep work, do you do isolation also?

And don't tell me not to do isolation. I want to.

THanks!

I'd say there's not much point to lower reps for isolation work as well. And since you insist on doing them (though I think high frequency push/pulls are much better with compound stuff only), just do them for higher reps in your lower rep days as well, but do different exercises since your keeping your reps the same. Or you could do 12-15 reps on the high rep days, and 8-12 on low rep days for isolation stuff.
