Default Craig's Transformation

I got this from Adam Campbell's blog. Check it out.

CB's Transformation

I tried it, too. I ended up looking almost as good as the number one pic, too. Less drool, though.

That's hysterical! I'd always been pretty suspicious of those before/after photos in the ads, but this proves just how easily they can be manipulated.

May have to try some of those tricks on my last photo shoot in Spetember but my trainer will boot me in the nads if I do! Bar steward never lets me tense the muscles even and will only take the piccy when Im relaxed!!!!!!!!

A great one for getting the 6 pack really showing is to have someone make you laugh like a loony when they are taking the piccys! Your stomach gets more of a conraction than any work out will give you

many magazine photos are retouched, especially the cover photos for one magazine that i know. most touch-ups you don't notice unless you study the photo.

but again, the transformation i did above was a 2 minute job...we didn't put any effort into lighting, tanning, oil, photoshop, etc.

ALSO - this gives you a good reason to walk with good posture at the beach when your shirt is off!

Craig, what did you do differently between the second and third picture. It's pretty obvious that posture and lack of flexing is the main difference between the first one and the others, but what about between 2 and 3. It looks like you've pulled your shoulders forward somewhat in the 3rd and flexed more. Is that it?

Rob, he could've done some reps to pump the muscles, too. Bodybuilders do high reps sets behind the stage prior to entering the competition on the stage. That's what i can think of. Craig obviously knows the best how to pump his muscles.

Actually I didnt' do any reps or pumping...that certainly would have made the transformation photo more vascular.

Honestly, it was weird enough taking these photos, so it would have been too weird to have done the pump-up part. If you know what i mean. The person taking the photo was already making me fun of me...

K-Court - what i did in the 3rd photo

1) I did a bit of a traditional bodybuilding pose (you know the one where the abs are flexed hard and biceps are flexed - i think its actually called the 'most muscular' in bodybuilding posing). You kind of crunch your body forward, to get the abs flexed.

2) then i straightened up and really pulled the shoulders back.

3) You also have to pull your abs in first.

it'd be a lot easier to show than to explain.

Thanks, Craig. I understand. I really don't want you showing me bodybuilding poses! :p

I also noticed that in the second photo, you are a little further away from the photographer than in the first and third. This has the illusion of making you look bigger in the third versus second, because you fill up more of the frame. I'm not sure if this was intentional or just a fluke.

PS I'm really enjoying your Beach Muscles program. It's definitely a challenge, especially with the add-on sets you recommended to laxcdn last year.
