Thumbs up Eric Cressey Interview

Smitty from The Diesel Crew did a fantastic interview with Eric Cressey. Every time I read or listen to Eric I learn something useful.

Diesel Crew Cressey Interview.pdf

To tempt you a little, here are a few quotes from the interview.

Quote:
Consider the Law of Repetitive Motion, an equation that explains how overuse injuries occur...
Quote:
Q7 Are “functional training” and “core” used too loosely?

…Nowadays, “core” means “the abs, obliques, and all those other muscles between the knees and shoulders that I’m too lazy to remember, much less list.” Mel Siff is weeping somewhere. I wish more people would just forget everything they “know,” and start from scratch the right way by going to a Stuart McGill seminar.
Quote:
Q12 What potential issues could occur if an athlete has a) tight hamstrings, b) tight internal shoulder rotation, c) tight hip flexors, d) tight IT band, e) limited spinal rotational mobility?
Quote:
I’m a lover, not a fighter (attractive single women who are impressed by my sensitivity can email me at ec@ericcressey.com).

I look forward to reading Eric's upcoming project with Kelly Bagget. I have always enjoyed Kelly's no-nonsense writing style.

Good article. It was a good mix of personal and professional. Knowing your 25 makes me feel like an old man.
