Default Episode 15: Shugart Nation

Download Episode 15 Here: www.thefitcast.com or throught iTunes.

This episode was a blast to do. It seems that each episode is getting better and better. And we talked for 83 minutes!!! Thats edited!!! For those who need it I will have a split version of the episode on www.thefitcast.com.

Chris is a great guy and I think you will all see that after hearing this week show.

Enjoy!!

Also John and I are looking for listener questions that he and I will answer on Episode 16 which will be offered in both video and audio form. So either go to the guest questions section or drop me an e-mail.

Chris was a hoot! It's strange really... He sounded a lot like Lou with his speech patterns and mannerisms.

I was thinking Terry Francona, manager of the Boston Red Sox.

John - the IMAX thing that you saw about cycling...what is it called? I've been looking for this for quite awhile. They put this thing together when Lance won his 6th tour...I believe.

I have to agree that cyclists can develop some absolutely incredible legs without touching a weight. When I am mountain biking heavily I don't hit them in the gym, but I will focus more on my hammies.

It's called
Wired to Win: Surviving the Tour de France

Great film - especially in an IMAX theater!

John - Thanks for the info. It's interesting about the people that the followed. It could be a different movie, but the one I was thinking of followed Tyler Hamilton. I can't help but wonder if they nixed that after he was found with drugs (EPO) in his blood.

I know some pretty high level track cyclists and they do spend alot of time in the gym. Yes the bike can develop big legs, but dont think these guys only bike.

And drugs in road cycling is nuts. Up there with IFBB bbers. These guys just know every single way to not get caught.

good fitcast guys!
