Default Bad day at the gym :(

So today i decided to hit the gym in the morning, which is unusual for me.
I went after breakfast, started to hit the weights.
Ive never felt so weak in my entire life, spechally the last exersice, front squats, my max is 85kg, so i was gonna do 70 kg for reps, i only did 2 reps!
could this have something to do that before the squats i did some CJ which could have made my legs tiered, so maybe i shoudnt expect so much from my squats after my oly moves? or could it be that the time of the day was unusual for me?

I also tried the Pendlay rows thing. was really hard, had a hard time bending the upper back while keeping the lower back arched and not moving my legs/hips.

Ive also recently had a 4 week absence from training due to a family holiday, but i heard your strenght shouldnt start going downhill before after 3 weeks, and only one week cant make THAT much of a difference can it?

Realistically you max probably only drops like 2.5 kilos. Were you doing squat cleans or power cleans. Squat Cleans would have more effect.

Don't feel bad though in 4 weeks you probably didn't lose that much stregnth probably a mental thing or getting back into the groove thing.

full squat clean and jerk. i noticed just on the full squat part of the clean that it was heavy too, even though it was only like 60kg.

Your max strength takes a while to go down, but your work capacity diminishes relatively quickly.

that explains why it was so hard doing reps. thanks.
Im hoping it comes back faster than it took getting it in the first place?

Yes, muscle memory is a nice thing to have.
