Default ATTN: Craig - Intervals during TT

I began TT on Monday and have been doing the training as prescribed. I have one simple question on the intervals for either Craig or anyone who has used the program with success.

Should you train on your off days with intervals as well as the days you train normally?

My scheme is this right now:

Mon. - TT
Tues - off
Wed - TT
Thur - off
Fri - TT
Sat & Sun - off

Would the following schedule be too much work or is it the proper way?

Mon - TT
Tues - Intervals
Wed - TT
Thur - Intervals
Fri - TT
Sat & Sun - off
OR
Sat - Intervals
Sun - Off

Please advise. Thanks in advance.

That is fine, but have you looked at the "core" workouts in the manual? You could do those twice a week too, instead of just HIIT.

Kevin,

Thanks for the info.

I do not have the manual. I have a collection of Craig's work from T-Nation and back in the day when he first wrote "The Executive Lifestlye Workout", he was gracious enough to give me a copy. In it there are some basic workouts for busy people and then it contains the original TT, TT2K3 and other advanced TT workouts. However, none of these contain any "Core" workouts.

Regarding core work, I do however have "The ABS Diet" book which contains a few core workouts in it. Would that suffice??

Thanks
D
