I'm currently training for the Belgian PL championships and since most competitors will use a squat suit or other PL gear, I decided to buy a squat suit too. But I don't really know how too train with this. any advice or articles that may help?

Elitefts is your place if you are going to compete in a powerlifting meet. You've just got to be willing to sift through their extensive library to find exactly what you need.
EliteFitness would probably recommend lifting raw until you build up to heavier lifts.

I used to think that exact way. But judging by most of the stuff ive read on elitefts, gear is used more for saftey then anything else. So with that in mind, if your going to compete in it you may as well do some training in it.

I bought my suit from a friend, he got to big for it. It's a metal viking squatter and I'll be competing in GPC. I just got my suit today, seems a little big though. Basically I just want to know how and when to train with the suit and when to train raw.
yes I know, It was kind of a guess, according to the size chart I need somewhere between size 46-48, this is a 48. I'm gonna look for someone who has a size smaller and try to trade them or something.
