Like everyone else said the whole point in doing sumos is to take some of the lift off the back. So set lower. It looks like you set descent, then right before you pull you get out of position.

OK, here's the latest. I think I've made improvements, but I admit the first rep of the first set is pretty horrible.
Sumo DLs 07/09/06
The prior video was deleted, but if someone wants to compare, I can put it back up.

Definite improvements but you're coming off your heels slightly, try wiggling your toes and sitting back a little more.

Sets 4 and 8 looked good. Get the Chuck Taylors or try barefoot until you make the purchase. Remember to set your arch firmly and keep it as you begin to pull.
Thanks for getting your feet into the picture. Where you set the camera this time is going to work great for the front squats. For the sumos, is there a way to get a camera angle that shows what your feet are doing on the initial pull?

Not on the first set, but this one is the second set:
Sumo Feet
I brought my feet in closer this week. I'm not a high school cheerleader, so I stopped trying to do the splits.
After looking over my video a bit closer, I noticed I didn't have the bar close enough, again. Closer, but not close enough and that is why I dogged my first rep.

Thanks! Those look pretty good. Get the shoes and I think your pulls will be very good.

Nope..they have next to no cushioning. They're designed for short runs to strengthen the foot and ankle.
