My advice...take better care of your shoulders. As someone who is dealing with a shoulder injury right now, I've taken a look back a the past couple of years and found that I've focused on cutting or bulking and the big compound lifts and I have been neglecting my shoulders. Now I'm paying for it. You emphasis should be on big compound, efficient lifts, but makes sure you keep some isolation/rehab type exercises in as well. Your shoulders (& your knees) will thank you.

I didn't mean to take away from your article. It's a good one, for the reasons you cited.
