Default How much time without training to lose strength?

Ill be going away now soon for 2 weeks, theres no gym, and in fact, i would like to take a break from training. I feel it in my knees after i started the olympic lifts, which im not used to, i think it COULD be the early stage of a tendonitis or something like that, so im not working out this week either, so it will be about 3 weeks without working out.
My question is, am i likley to loose alot of strenght during this time?

The biggest concern for the 3 week should be your diet if you will not be lifting.

Studies have shown that it takes a good 3 weeks before de-training kicks in. And that is if you were doing NOTHING, which I highly doubt. Keep your diet non-retarded, participate is some non-training activities and you will be fine. No worries.

Me personally I would lose strength after 3 weeks, but probably only put me back about a week from where I was, so only one week to get it back.

Could be phsycological though :p.

I took a 3 week break a few months back and actually found that it was just what my body needed and my strength had increased when I got back home.
