*Update*
I hit a new DL
PR today after being seriously inspired by reading this thread and where I fell in the list.
425 @ 195
I think I could've done more, but my grip started failing and I almost dropped 425 on the way back down
500 is still aways off, but then again I can remember when I thought 315 was impossible

I can't believe we're counting predicted 1RMs. If you haven't lifted it, you haven't lifted it.
I should have just shown up at Seniors and said "I squatted 135 for a set of five in warm-ups, so I'm just going to predict that I'd hit 705 and sit this one out. Wake me up when it's time to bench."
:p

i agree with eric 100%. If you haven't lifted it, you haven't lifted it.
There's a lot of mental issues that comes with lifting something heavier. Just because you're projected to do it, doesn't mean you will or can.

I agree, just stick up 275 for me, even though I did it 3 times xD! Gives me more incentive to climb the ladder anyways!

I have to agree. The calculated 1RM is a prediction and gives you an idea of your capabilities, but the actual lift is what counts.

So... take them off the list altogether, or leave them as I have them now: in a sub-section with asterisk?

Leave them there for a few days. PM them, in case they haven't folllowed lately, asking them for their last max attempt or asking them to go shoot for a new one.

Fewer reps, more intervals. Check out the Deadlift Race thread. Alcoholiday and a few others outlined some good ways to progress for a 1rm.

I gotta get in on this competition.
My best pull was 383/207 on 12-26-05.
Can you add me to the list RH?
I've got a goal of 500 by 9/1/06, hopefully sooner. I know I can do it.
Best of luck to everyone.

Yer added, gymrat!
As for me: I just weighed in at 169, which is an unintentional 3 pound loss. (For those of you who don't know much about me, I don't gain or lose very easily, so 3 pounds is significant for me.) My goal is 455 while staying 180 or below. This gives me plenty of room to do some eating.
I guess this is my formal announcement that I'm doing a bulk cycle for the first time in a while. I guess since last year. Spinach shake? Make that a double!
