Default Still around!

Just a quick hello to let you know, that, yes, I AM still alive and working out in upstate New York! LOL

For the first time in my working out life I have actually created a routine that seems to be working for me. As much as my disease limits my gains I am actually seeing a (slight) increase in size and strength. I've gained 3 pounds (a small amount, but to someone with crohns disease, its like a 10-15 pound gain of solid muscle to someone else). I like this routine so much I'm actually breaking my 8 week max workout rule and I'm taking it out to 10 weeks. I'm mid-week 8 right now. Its a 3 day split of 6x6.

My energy level is still not where I'd like it to be, but I'm afraid that and not being able to eat what I need to to bulk are side effects of the crohns I need to live with. I'm dealing with the limitations put on me and trying to stay active as much as possible.

A chance meeting on the street last nite with a man 8-10 houses down has pushed me to get out on the bike a bit more. I see him ride by my house several times a week and he commented his rides are 20-25 miles each time. Considering I rode only 54 miles last summer I was a bit embarrased! Hes a few years older than me and doesn't work, not sure if he's medcally retired like me or not. Regardless, I have a way to go before I can handle a 20 mile ride but I need to start somewhere.

Take care my friends, I will post every now and then to keep you updated.
There are so many new names here, I miss being part of the day to day.

Alan
