Default Eric Cressey on The FitCast, Questions Needed.

Eric is going to be on the show this week as a guest host with John and I. Like with Lou and JB I am looking for listener questions to ask Eric during the round table. So either post them or send them through e-mail to: kevin.larrabee@gmail.com

Great news on getting Eric on the show!

Does he subscribe to the g-flux argument that the higher the calorific input/output the better the body composition and, for the average person, where should you draw the line in terms of activity to avoid overtraining?

Would 4 days of lifting, 2 sessions of HIIT and 3 steady state sessions per week, sometimes training twice per day, be effective or just a sure fire way to overtrain?

Good luck!

What are the most common mobility/flexbility issues you see in athletes? In office workers? What steps do you take to address each group?

What is the most common cause of (hyper)lordosis that you see in women and what advice would you give women who have this problem and are already working out?

Which other fitness guru does he most admire/respect/want to work with in the future?

What's the most common cure for hunched forward shoulders?

Have you checked out EC's latest articles on shoulders (T-Nation)? That would probably be the best start. What he's got on there has helped me out a lot...I also had a consult with him that helped out a lot.

Are you going to ask him any beer questions?

I second RL's "What are the most common mobility/flexbility issues you see in athletes? In office workers? What steps do you take to address each group?"

1) What do you prefer to do on dynamic/speed-strength days? (i.e. lift, sets, reps, %1RM, etc)

2) What do you like to do to help your athlete's improve their speed? What are the most common weakpoints that you find that need to be strengthened in order to improve speed? How do you address these?

3) Mass gaining tips

I'm looking forward to next week, after school ends, so I can get caught up on the fitcasts. Thanks again Kevin for doing all this. It's a great idea and your hard work is greatly appreciated.

FYI, I did a really in-depth interview with Ryan Lee recently that should be out pretty soon. We went into a lot of detail on common mobility issues in athletes. I'll be sure to post a link to the audio interview when it comes out, and we can certainly address it here as well.

As for the beer question, I'm not much of a beer aficionado. However, after my performance on Sunday night (well into Monday morning), I'd say that Vegas won't soon forget me (or the eleven folks from the Buffalo powerlifting crew with me).:p

It really isn't a term. By definition, "lordosis" is an excessive extension that leads to pathology.

Im curious as to what you think are the biggest imbalances or issues with olympic lifters or o-lifting in general.
