Default reverse hypers!

hey guys -- one question. does anyone know a substitute exercise for reverse hypers?

my rec center doesn't have one of those stands, nor a machine quite like the one in the book.

For some reason I remember seeing someone do these on a swissball on the floor. Maybe some else could verify that fact.

Check out this link, it shows a few pictures of them being done on a ball. I have seen some people set their ball up on a bench or plyo box to get a greater range of motion. Weight can be added with a dumbbell, a band anchored to the ground, ankle weights, or chains wrapped around your feet.

I would recommend single leg deadlifts. If you are looking to target the glutes and hamstrings, that is your best bet.

Also, do you mean hyperextensions, or reverse hyperextensions...because they are 2 seperate exercises.
