From past posts most people said they were going to do Barely Legal for 4 weeks. I am really happy with the routine so I think I will continue with it but maybe change up some of the exercises. What do those of you plan to do afterwards?
I am about to start week 2 of Barely Legal and I am definately seeing bigger arms and my pecs feel tighter....anyone else seeing great results from this plan?
My girlfriend and I just completed week one today and are loving it. We'll be doing it for 4 weeks but I've added some twists. Got the idea from an Alwyn Cosgrove post on another site:
Week 1 - Introductory phase (getting used to the new exercises, finding a good weight to use, etc).
Week 2 - The base workout. Same as week one, but go heavier or hit more reps.
Week 3 - Cut volume by forty percent, but go all out in intensity i.e. try to set a personal best on as many lifts as possible.
Week 4 - Use intensity techniques, i.e. tempo contrast, iso-dynamics, strip sets, etc.
Haven't thought about what to do after yet. Figure we'll see how the next three weeks goes.
Am doing it now. I've kinda turned it into a 3 day full-body workout with slightly higher reps, and lesser sets. Will be doing it for 2-3 weeks, and then switching to the standard BL for 3-4 weeks.
Without trying to be a Turbulance Training cheerleader, I'll leave that up to Cappacino, but you guys really are missing out on a great value by not buying that All Access Pass. It's got literally years worth of workouts by a first class trainer to pretty much meet any goals you may have. Craig seems to be one of the hardest working individuals around. He sends out multiply newsletters per week all with some useful information, he puts new workouts in the AAP at least once a month, he writes for MF and one of the most suprising things is that every emailed question I send him he's responded and answered every question contained. And that was before I was a AAP member.
He's an incredible source of information and seems to be a real stand up guy who really researches and cares about what he does.
End of kiss-up. Ted

I'll go along with your posts Blackjack and buttress it by confirming everything you said. CB never lets an email go unanswered, provides helpful newsletters several times a week, writes great workouts and loves what he does.
