I have a procedure (laser eye surgery) scheduled 12/8, and I'm planning on doing RR&D everyday right up until then. I think I read in the w/o description that the author did it 21 days straight at one point. Seems to me like it could be done. Then I take a little time off, and back to the iron by the end of the year. What do you say?
I would say give it a try but just make sure you are "listening" to your body. Depending on your experience level, you should be able to detect whether or not you are overtraining. But that workout is pretty low in volume. I would still take a least 1 day per week rest though. Give it a go and see what happens.

Thanks Ted. I think I will give it a go. I just got through with about 7000 miles of travel over two weeks, and it really shot my w/o to hell. Now I have the time off in Dec. coming up too. Hey, if by day 8 or 12, if I need a day, I'll take a day.
I'm not sure, but I don't think your surgery should hurt you too much. It's out-patient and they don't sedate you or anything. I would think you could get right back to working out the next day. Let me know if I'm mistaken.

Well, I did this (RR&D) for 14 days straight, and had to bag it. My right shoulder started bothering me, and I couldn't complete the shoulder presses, so I'm going to take like two weeks off from the weights.
But, I didn't have any other discomfort doing this, in fact, it was pretty enjoyable getting the weights in each day, and adding cardio every third day.
I think my next go round with a routine will be a high rep type, just for a change of pace.
