Default kinda not new here, just wanted to re-introduce myself

Hey guys how's it going? Darkmind here from norcal bay area. I'm 6'0 190lbs (on average.. 185lbs when i first wake up, and no I won't say I'm 6'1 before I get out of bed in the morning :P). I like strength training, and while I'm at it, I like getting bigger.

My first question (in a long time) is that I can easily pull my right arm muscle.. my bicep/brachialis muscles, or maybe some rotator cuff muscle or maybe just stretch it out too much, when I both tense it too much (like bear hugs, arm wrestling), or when I throw a football. Anyone know why this occurs? Anyways to prevent future injury? It hurts now, and being a courtesy clerk doesn't help heal it (with pushing the carts and all). Thanks all, and hello!

Hey Darkmind, welcome to the boards. Im really no authority and dont know what to say about the muscles, except that it makes me think of when your playing dodgeball to long, or pitching, and how your arm gets sore right at the elbow joint and shoulder, anyways, it may be elbow positioning during those movements. But dont take me for it, im sure some one qualified will respond to say its the complete opposite of the elbow, or something =-p

First of all, welcome again. Second, you might want to ask your question in the Injuries and Rehab section and get Bill Hartman or another expert to answer.

Hey Darkmind. Good to hear from you again. I'd also add to FlyinM's suggestion to post the question in Bill Hartman's forum on here. He's the man when it comes to rehabilitation.

Glad you're back.
