I'm starting Phase IV next week and my results so far have been mediocre.
I have added significant bulk to my chest and shoulders, gone from 190 lbs. - 203 lbs., however, my arms and legs have not gained
any mass, nor do they look more muscular. I got the same results doing a 3 day split last spring.
What's the deal? I'm am 6'3" and 190 lbs when I started--long legs and arms. I've stuck to the diet, and routines, very closely. I consume around 4500 calories on workout days, and 3800 on nonworkout days. I am gaining weight---that's not the problem. Anyone who eats that much quality food, and lifts heavy, will gain some muscle mass. It's just not going to my arms and legs. It is so frustrating!
I did a month long corrective phase. I'm proficient at all the excercises. The only problem I've had is with the hang snatch.
