Hello All,

If you remember a while back I posted about how I wanted to get my Fiancée involved in a diet and exercise plan, well it worked and she has been working out for over 2 months now.

She is starting to show some pretty good results but there is one problem, she is not following any workout plan. She doesn’t have set days, times, or routines for the gym. I have talked to her about it and she seems pretty comfortable with getting involved in a program, now I have to find here one.

Right now there is only one thing her and I are concerned about; fat loss. She wants to drop as much fat and tone up as she can by the wedding on September 17th. Her problem areas are mostly her stomach, butt and arms.

I feel it is very important that she gets on some sort of program ASAP, being that she is showing such great results so fast things will be slowing soon and I don’t want to see her get discouraged.

Does anyone have any recommendations for a workout plan for women?

Full body Fatloss by Joel Marion over at rugged. Make sure her diet is squat because thats where the fat loss will be determined.

If you dont like that routine, try Lean, Sexy, and Hard also at rugged.

Diet diet diet, and gradually throw in HIIT. Have her lift first, and as she gets strucutred with that, then throw in extra stuff like HIIT.

I agree with all that Gq said. Also, she doesn't only need to follow plans designed specifically for women. She can use one written for men as well if she sees one she likes. She can search over at T-Nation as well for some workouts...Christiane Lamy has written some for women. She needs to find one that she is comfortable with. Can I ask what type of weights she is using? I think she will really see some good results if she uses free weights and compound movements (if she's not already). And like Gq said...diet diet diet. I don't mean go on one, I mean she needs to make sure she is eating the right foods and the right amounts. She needs the weights to get the muscle definition, but change the diet to lose the bodyfat (and throw some cardio in there too probably...but diet is most important ).

My GF has really really enjoyed Craig's TT for Women program. She's had some good results, and was in a similar situation in that was on a good workout schedule, but had no structure. That's another thought...
