My situation is pretty unique, I have a big a$$ and wide hips, but not much fat there, guessing genetics. I want to reduce the size of these particular areas as much as possible.

I know squats and deads are good for tightening up these areas if you have fat there, but if you dont have much fat there and its pretty hard, wouldnt the squats and deadlifts increase the size of the muscle, thus increasing the overall size of my a$$ and hips and making me even wider? Please advise, as I want to have a smaller ass and narrower hips, what should I do?

Well, if you're wide because of your pelvic bony structure (i.e., not because of fat), there isn't much that you can do to make the area 'smaller'. I suppose that you'd be best to take an approach which focuses on symmetry, i.e., wider shoulders would have the effect of making your waistline look narrower.

I wouldn't give up the squats and deadlifts. They're too important in terms of overall strength.
