Default Then and Now. How training has changed how we think.

Then:
Kinesiology? What they let them take gym in College? wtf!
Now:
Kinesiology. Yeah that would be a cool area of study.

Then:
I got tonnes of exercise this week, I took a walk for a half hour, that's like 100% more than usual.
Now:
I am such a lazy sob this week, I only made the pool once and went running once. Might make yoga tomorrow depending on the wrist and maybe a run on Sunday.

Then:
Can I get my steak with a side of frys and a second side of frys?
Now:
Can I ditch the mashed potatoes and get a second serving of veggies with the steak? Cool.
Hey awesome the veggies are brocolli!

Then:
What did you do on the weekend?
Oh I played planetside(computer game) all weekend it was cool me and my squad.....
Now:
What did you do on the weekend?
Shannon and I took an indoor climbing course, it was pretty fun we learned how to tie knots and rappel and climb a 30' wall!

Og.

Yup, how times have changed. At least for some of us. Unfortunately, we are the enlightened few. And, the rest of the country still thinks putting Ketchup on your fries is a vegetable serving.

That's good perspective, OG. Now when I call myself fat and lazy, I can look at what I DID do and feel better (even if it's not as much as I should have done).

Thanks, Og. This reminds me that I could be tidying up my dieting- even though everyone already considers me the "Health Food Guy."

Then:
I have a fast metabolism, I can eat as much BK as I want and stay skinny.
Now:
I'm still skinny, but how the fuck did I get this huge gut?

LOL, Mahler. Good one!

Then: I sure hope I can get some help moving all those boxes.

Now: You're too late, I moved them all myself.

Then: Cooked carrots in butter sauce with a hint of dill.

Now: Raw baby carrots straight out of the bag.

Then (looking in the mirror): Man, I really need to do something about that weight. [put on shirt]

Now: Damn, that's ME! Holy cow! [flexes...]

Welcome to JP's, Shannon.

I'm sure Ogedei likes to hear you say that. Much better to be the hot studly guy than the cute fat guy.
