I am broad (sp) in my shoulder area already, not sure if its my shoulders per say, or my traps, but I am wide in that area. I dont want to get any wider, but still want nice developed/cut shoulders, is there any shoulder exercises I should avoid, ie lat raises or rear delts?

If you have wide shoulders, but not necessarily from muscular development, then you probably have great genetic structure.

I wouldn't avoid any particular exercise. Unless you start juicing like a pro bodybuilder, there aren't exercises that will make you dramatically wider.

Steroids, on the other hand, can lead to overdevelopment of the shoulders, lats, pecs, and traps, so you get "yoked up" and turn into a cartoon character.

Without steroids, most guys who build that kind of shoulder-girdle muscle will also put on consider body fat, so they'll be thicker through the waist and the whole thing becomes a push.

A well-balanced workout program, on top of good genetics, should give you the results you want without making you look freakish.

Ok thanks Lou, I appreciate it. Steroids isnt an issue, even though some say they are ok, I wont resort to them. I just work hard and whatever comes natural, so be it. Thanks for the quick response.
