Default New Squat PR

Alright. So I was really really really really really pissed tonight so I went and lifted to vent. I've maxed out on deads and bench recently so I figured I'd give squats a go. Long story short, got 190 and then called it quits before I did anything stupid due to my anger.

That puts me at:
-300 deadlift
-190 squat
-150 bench
-640 total

I know I have a lot more in me, at 190 I was just warming-up but I was too hot to do anything stupid so I just stopped.

Good and bad. I was in a really really bad mood so i had all the energy to go out and 190 went up like nothing. However, I had used up too many reps to get there. After getting 190, my anger was diminished and I didn't feel like I had anything for 200. I started to go down, but had to drop it on the pads behind me because I knew I wasn't going to be able to get back up. It started awesome, but I hate ending on a bad note. No worries though. Tomorrow, I'll straighten out my problem and sometime late next week when I don't have school I'll get 200+.

I focused a lot on deadlifts until I got to 300. I find that if I focus on a specific lift, I advance faster in it. So, I plan on working more on my sqauts more until I hit 250. So, I'll be doing more work with them until I get there. Right now, i'm not in the greatest mood, but by this time tomorrow I should be able to look back and be real happy about this.

UPDATE: just got 200. I'm totally out of it-all congested and shit, so hitting 200 on a bad day feels pretty damn good. I've been working on stuff since I got out of school Wednesday (I had midterms last week, so I got Th and Fri off). I built myself some squat boxes (10.25", 3", and 4"-I'll post pics later) and cleaned out the workroom. Spent the entire weekend cleaning out all the crap in there. So, I was surrounded by dirt, dust, saw dust, etc. and now i'm all congested and it sucks. But hitting 200 on the second try feels a lot better. I didn't get the first try but I remembered to take a big breath and tighten my core before attempt number 2 and it went up pretty easy. I stopped there, though, cause of how I'm feeling. Only 25# to go till I reach my 2006 goal, though I'll probably be making my 2006 goals my 16th birthday goals .

Alright, I'm done talking.
