I know the eating aspect of S2B is to eat a lot, just make sure you eat the right foods at the right times. Since this diet is basically 100% clean, it would be better than most peoples eating habits now. But with the huge amount of food, surely some fat gain comes with the muscle gain. My question is does eating like this actually inhibit ab development?
My number one goal at this time is to get a lil more cut... but I want to eventually get to adding more mass, so would S2B take away all my progress to get cut up to now? Thanks for all your input those that are doing S2B now!
I wouldnt do S2B if youre looking to get your abs to show. Ive put on about 10-11 lbs so far, and my abs are getting less visible. Theres a bunch of other programs that are better suited for your goals.
Thanks, im at the beginning of Phase 3 at the moment. Ive been close to thinking about stopping S2B, at least the eating part of it just because at times its been really tiresome and annoying eating 4000-5000 calories per day, but ive kept at it. I cant say my diet has been 100% clean, but its kinda hard to do that with that many calories, at least for me.
JB, im not sure if that was directed at me or not, but if it was...
Im not going to stop the routine or anything. I was just having one of those week/10 day periods where i was having trouble finding time to get to the gym, and having trouble eating enough food, and was kind of enjoying not working out. I had a good workout yesterday, and feel alot better now.

The S2B nutrition principles work for building muscle AND losing fat. Just taper the energy intake up or down to do so.
Since S2B nutrition is based on Massive Eating, I thought I'd post a link to The Good Doctor's "Don't Diet" Plan, found in an old "Appetite For Construction" article.
It's a couple of subjects down. Definately worth a look (at least until he decides to publish a follow up book on slimming back down).
