A lot of us are now going into our third week. How are things going? Personally, I'm up about 2 lbs but that is more from eating a lot more of what I was than following the eating portion.

My flexibility is getting much better. That is an area where I am feeling really good.

I'm up about 2lbs as well and the workouts are certainly getting easier. I've added 15lb dumbells to the unilateral deadlifts and squats and upped the weight on the cuban presses and reverse flys. There is something very satisfying in seeing the strength improvements in my weak-areas.

I also decided to retake the assement test last night and scored a 4. That's down from 10! I should be good to go come August.

The diet is getting easier as well. I was sick from all the food the first week and had trouble getting to sleep on a full stomach. It took me a good seven days, but my body has adjusted to all the protein.

Cheers

I am just starting week 3 of phase 2. I really liked the corrective phase, but it is nice to get back to more regular lifting. I am really looking forward to the strength phase in phase 3. It will be the first time I have trained purely for strength.

I'm still having trouble on my unilateral deadlifts. My left leg heal is still wanting to pull up and now that I'm focusing on it I can tell that it is also weaker than my right leg. The good news is the my once pathetic airplanes are now much nicer.

Not that two weeks provides much feedback, but I am very happy with my progress through the corrective phase. My range of motion has improved significantly in my hip (butterfly stretch) and my shoulders have never felt better.

It will be interesting to re-take the assessment at the end and quantify the improvements.

i'd say S2B sucks, but i already know where that conversation will lead.

i'm happy with the progress so far. slowly increasing on the bodyweight exercises and making steady gains with the DB's too. haven't jumped on the scale yet to see how the diet is going, but then again i've only been eating big this past week. flexibility is getting better too, although i'm not spending as much time on it as i'd like.

On the diet front, I've put on a couple of pounds after one serious week of massive eating. The weekend was less than optimum but during the week, I'm sticking pretty much with the diet as per the plan.

On the corrective work, I have fiddled with the exercises a couple of times to try to get it right in terms of number of reps and sets. I think I have it pretty much where I want it now. My shoulders are feeling stronger and I'm enjoying the unilateral lower body exercises. They are great stabilizing workouts. I added 10 lb DBs to the unilateral deadlift last workout and will do so to the unilateral squat tonight. I really like the dynamic stretches I'm doing. I feel they are making a big difference in flexibility. My elbow continues to bug me and I think I will be dropping the dips for a week or two and see if that helps. (Pisses me off though cause I LOVE dips ... grrrr..)

G2G, I have a meal to eat ....

Same left leg issue as you Deserve. K - you're way ahead of me if your grabbing the DB's for the Uni work.

I agree with Bulking UP...I'm antsy to start lifting heavy stuff again. I leave these workouts not feeling any big pumps in my upper body at all..my legs are fairly creamed but it's just not the same. But..I'm seeing better flexibility and I'm getting stronger on the Unilaterals. So I'm sure this will translate to bigger lifts later.

As far as weight...I haven't stepped on a scale. I'll do that tomorrow. I have changed the kinds of calories I'm eating. Lots of vegs and I've added an omlet as a late meal (second supper) I look forward to that one each night. But as I say...I dunno if I'm making any weight gains. Can't tell in the mirror...

I weighed this morning. I've lost 1.5 pounds. Hmmmmmmm. Think maybe I need to add a few more calories.
