I've seen about a hundred different ways to calculate your daily calorie intake. Mine has ranged anywhere from around 2500 to 4000. That is a big difference. I'd like to know which ways you all measure so I can get the most accurate one I can. Thanks.

I don't think ANY calorie counter is correct. And that is because, no calorie counter ever takes body fat into percentage.

Think about it.. would a 180lb, 8% bf person need the same amount of calories (maintenance) as a 180lb, 25% bf person? Of course not, the 8% bf would need more since he has A LOT more muscle

not to mention, it also doesn't take into account metabolism.. there's people varying from eating 3000 calories to maintain a 150lb body to people needing 2000 calories to maintain a 180lb body.. that's also a huge diff

The best thing IMO (and my O ain't worth squat ) is to use self regulation.. if you wanna lose weight, keep yourself a little hungry, for about half an hour .. if you want maintenance, eat as soon as you're hungry..

but basically, if you eat clean, and limit carbs as per Adam's guidelines, I don't think you can worry about overeating unless you're always feeling stuffed
