I finished my PT for a still recovering shoulder impingement. My PT has provided me with a list of stretches and exercises that totals about 15. All of the exercises are for high repetitions (30) and low weight (3-5 pounds). The exercises include internal/external rotation, shoulder horizontal abduction, shoulder abduction, shoulder flexion, shoulder extension, and scapular retraction. The recommendations say to do these every day. I have no problem taking the time to do them because I REALLY want my shoulder to get healthy. I am just a little concerned about rest for the shoulder? Is it ok to do these every day? Any opinions or experiences with this? Thanks for the help (again).

Generally yes. The loads don't really place a tremendous drain on your neuromuscular system. I would probably spilt them up over a couple days to allow for some variation. As things improve you can then reduce frequency and vary loading parameters.

Thanks for the help Bill.

In addition to this I'm going to do 4 sets of db squats (lightweight) twice a week, core work, which will include pushups planks. Do you think this is too much?

It depends on your conditoning level and training intensity. I wouldn't think it'd be too much.
