Other than your body is hot? When I was doing cardio a while back (before I learned that lifting can be more beneficial and cut as much or more fat) I sweat a great deal after 20 mins on a cycle, and when I was doing weights (but on a machine as opposed to free weights now) with high reps low volume I sweat a great deal. I've switched to this RR&D plan, which is a 5x5 plan two to three exersices a day for four days, and I sweat minimally if at all.
I remember back in the gym days they told us if you weren't sweating you werent working. Is this true, or is the RR&D actually helping more than I've been raised to think?
No, it doesn't mean anything. Some people sweat, others don't. It's the body's response to overheating or stress, and doesn't have a direct correlation to working hard or not. You could be doing Warterbury's 'Reverse' lifting protocol where you lift 10 sets of 3 reps each with breaks in between and not sweat - you'd definitely be working though.

Do you find RRD difficult?

Well, I don't find it physically exhuasting, but I do find it brings my muscles to a point where they are tight and feel like they couldn't lift anymore if I asked them to. So, yeah, the exercises I do on the days it requires are difficult toward the end for the particular muscles, but it's nothing I can't handle . . . I get the implication now. Yeah it's difficult, so yeah it must be working me out, sweat or no sweat. Thanks.

Werd.
My roommate told me the same thing (ex football player trying to cut) and I told him that if he found the workout easy, then by all means use more weight.
