Is Men's Health Muscle worth buying? Does it contain helpful info.? I am thinking of getting it, but I would like to get some feedback first. THe only issue I can find available is Spring 2004. Thanks.

It depends what you are wanting the book for. I find that the main use for the book is from the wide range of exercises that it details (and how to execute correct form).

At the end of the book there are 3 x 6 month workouts, which I would class as useful for general conditioning as opposed to for simply bulking up.

There is also a small section regarding nutrition, which takes into account what you should eat depending on your goals.

Men's Health Muscle is a magizine. MH Book of Muslce(which you are refering to) is a ....book.

I thought the post was about the magizine.

have you tried BOM since you are referring to that. because I've worked on the Beginner routine and it helped me bulk up and now on the intermediate routine and it's doing wonders. btw....there's some strength elements as well in the program.

to the original poster....the first issue of MH Muscle was great and I read through the second one. John Berardi wrote a great routine in the second one which I Mahler (another member of this forum) is on right, but I could be mistaken.

Yes, otherwise I wouldn't have referred to it... Don't get me wrong, I think it's a great program but IMO you will get greater hypertrophy gains from other programs.

Now I know about the MH Muscle mag, I wish it was available in the UK!
