hi guys, first time poster here, although i've lurked around for about a year.

i just some critiques of my workout.

right now my routine goes like this

---

Monday
Squats 5x5
Walking Lunges 3x10
Leg Raise 3x8

Straight-Leg Deadlift 5x5
Leg Curls 3x10

Ian King's Great Guns; Phase 1, Workout A

Wednesday
Bench 5x5
Cable Flies 3x10

Superset Standing Calf Raise and Seated Calf Raises 3x12

Shoulder Press 5x5
Front Raise 3x10

Friday
bent over row 5x5
Ian King's Great Guns; Phase 1, Workout B
more calf work if time permits

---

as you can see i'm trying to bulk, but not too seriously at the moment. i'm trying to focus mostly on arms and calves bcuz those are the scawniest parts of me right now.

its weird i have good proportionate quads and hamstrings, but tiny calves (blame it on genetics). i'm pretty satisfied with my chest and back but my arms are also small too.

is doing 5x5 bench and shoulder press in the same day ok? i put calves in the middle so my upperbody can get some rest.

The few things that jump out at me are...

-cable flys: IMO you dont need to isolate the chest with this movement. instead try chest dips or incline press.

-front raises: your front delts are being worked enouugh with shoulder presses. i would do reverse flys and/or laterals instead so you hit all 3 deltoid heads.

-more back work: i would add a pulldown movement such at pullups, chins, or lat pulldowns(machine).

-auxillary work for biceps/triceps: i dont think it would be a bad thing to add a few sets of isolation exercises for your arms. try doing 2-3 sets of curls(biceps) and exstensions(triceps) at the end of your workouts. do the tricep work on chest day and bicep work on back day.
