I am back in business over at mf.com. So I will be posting in both places. Please feel welcome to do the same.

Methinks someone had a meeting with Someone and someone showed Someone a post in this forum that showed both someone and Someone that MF is taking subscriptions from MH and that those converts value the forum time of experts like someone.

So much for my college Composition classes

Adam - I noticed you were posting over there this morning. I was glad to see it, and it makes for some interesting debates as opposed to the typical stuff that is preached over there.

Someone doesn't like to fool around when someone thinks there could be an opportunity.

Someone also thinks there are strength in numbers and someone could really use some help

(Don't leave JP's site, though--this place is the best and I will remain here, even while posting there.)

Someone is going to have to go and take a look.

Did anyone notice that MH forum is breathing its last? Lot of problems and no solutions.

Mahler-
yeah, the front page of the fitness forum isn't updating for me. The same topics have been in the same order for almost 24 hours now. I had a pretty big question that I wanted advice for, only have 2 responses, but I can't bump it back to the front page. Is it like that for y'all, too?

Has anyone noticed how I've stayed out of this conversation? Good Lou! Now, sit! Roll over! (Oh, wait, already did that part ...)

If you hadn't largely broken from MH, Lou, I wouldn't have posted either. I'm only feeling a LITTLE guilty about breaking from your magazine. I hope there's nothing personal for you. Your column plus maybe another five pages are all I'll miss.

Thanks, Dan. I wouldn't feel guilty at all. You're the consumer, and it's your job to vote with your money.

If one product isn't giving you what you perceive to be your money's worth, and another is, you're doing the entire free-enterprise system a disservice by not spending accordingly.

And then the terrorists will have won.

Well this someone registered for the MF forum on July 9, but it says that I am still "Awaiting Authorisation" (their spelling) and apparently you cannot post until you are "authorised".

Am I missing something or does anyone else have this problem?

Adam,

I joined the MF forum sometime last year, but was put off by the attitude of a certain poster named 'Skullcrusher', who seems to be online 24/7 and has a large following there. He seems overly opinionated and arrogant.

I hate bad mouthing people, but any thoughts on his participation? Things may change with you around over there?

I just have no desire to be "put in my place" (as he's done with many new posters) by a guy I know nothing about.

I AM IMPRESSED!!

Adam said he would find out about my problem logging into the Men's Fitness forum. What do you know--I got back from lunch and had an email that addressed my problem and it works. (!@#$ spam filters)

NOW THAT'S CUSTOMER SERVICE!!

I am fully converted to being a MF MF fan now. Forget the "other" misdirected men's rag whose forum never works anyway.

Thank you, Thank you, Thank you.

I signed up over there, and browsed some of the posts. Content seemed pretty good.

I still have not been able to find the August issue anywhere, but I have only checked at Meijers and Target.

My screen name over there is iron76.

Hey Rockhard, I see what you mean about the skullcrusher guy on the MF forum. I read a couple of his posts and he seemed to be pretty good. But you keep reading and realize he chimes in on every single post on the board and most of his posts are just annoying and arrogant.

Yes, though things have improved. I think Adam's increased presence will more than make up for it.

Some of the info in the newbie threads is useful but his presentation is rude and demeaning to the people who have the questions that he is answering.

The MF site seems to be very user friendly. May just have to start 'hanging out' there, too

Guys,

let me know if you have a different handle over there than you do here, and I'll keep an eye out for you. I am mostly in the Resistance Training forum, but delve into Nutrition, too.

Thanks Adam, although my posts havent been received too well over there. Although I smoothed things out with Ribosome and Mikelifts659, Skullcrusher still thinks that periodization is too "advanced".

Mike and Ribosome are good guys and open to new ideas. Mike will tell you he is old school, but enjoys useful debates and helping others. That seems pretty cool to me.

The culture is changing...
