TNT Recipes If you have a yummy recipe that fits in with the Campbell and Voleck's new book, The TNT Diet, put it here. Or get some recipe ideas if you are bored with eating boiled eggs and tuna out of a can!

Default Wanted: A Tasty, No Pork, Collard Greens Recipe

I'm looking for a yummy, tnt-compliant recipe for a main or side dish that uses canned or fresh collard greens but no pork products. Any ideas?

TIA,

Mich

if you have a pork recipe that you like, you can usually substitute something like a smoked turkey leg or wing for the smoky-meaty flavors - or even turkey sausage like a kielbasa.

Here is a good collard green recipe that my Southern family enjoys and I don't feel bad about the ingredients.....this is now our favorite way to serve collards!

Collards with Red Onions

Not sure if this is TNT compliant but I thought I would share in case

yea, just put smoked ham or smoked turkey leg. There is no substitute for 'fat' remember, but you can add 'flavor'. It's just not going to be the flavor of fat
