Default Chocolate mousse

1 cup heavy whipping cream
1/3 cup Splenda
1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa

combine in bowl and mix with electric hand mixer or stand mixer until stiff.

That's all there was to it. It was really good last night, but it was even better left over tonight. So next time I'll try to make it ahead and refridgerate it for a few hours.

No idea, I've never used it. But I can't see why not.

Damn, I can't believe I missed this one. So much like my fruit cup fluff (or is it Fruit Fluff Cup?).

Anything chocolate to quell the craving.

How many servings does tha make? I mean, 1cp of cream? That's gonna whip up pretty big, no?

It will work, but you have to make sure the stevia is mixed in very well. Stevia doesn't seem to combine all that well and you end up with sweet spots and not so sweet spots. I'd stir it into the cream and then let the cream sit for a while, stirring here and there, before taking the next steps.

Well, for me it was just a couple servings

yeah, it makes a pretty good amount. I'd say four to six if you measured it out into dessert cups or something.

My partner made this last week and I took about half the recipe over to a friend's house for dessert. There were 3 of us; one person took about 3 bites and said it was too rich. The other person ate about half and said it was very rich...

... mine was already gone and I wanted more :p Great recipe, thanks for posting it

I know this was posted a long time ago, but I was looking for new recipes today since starting TNT plan A

You are right about the stevia, doesn't mix at all.....and I did mix first with cream but I still had to mash most of it in the bowl with my spoon to get it to "de-clump"! I also used Hershey's DARK cocoa powder, which makes for a different choco. taste too. All in all, it was still good though! Thanks for the recipe.

Anyone heard bad things on Stevia?? I have heard some alarming stuff about it lately, just wondering if it's all BS?

Precision Nutrition just had an article on this. Stevia and Splenda, maybe one other. Upshot: no particular evidence that they are harmful to humans. Some caution signs. Don't go overboard on any of this stuff, otherwise OK.
