Default TNT Chili - from the book

Just made it today and it's really good! The only thing I changed is I added some chopped onion instead of the yellow pepper ($5.99 lb - ouch). I also threw in a bit of sour cream with the cheese in my bowl and it was VERY tasty! Since I make my chili with no beans anyway, this was perfect for me. Oh, and I definitely made it on the spicy side.

By the way, can a mod get the typo (recipes) in the forum title corrected. I don't know why, but it's driving me crazy.

Sounds good. Never made chili without the beans before so I am looking forward to this.

I don't know if we are allowed to actually pull recipes from the book and post them.

That would be giving away the book for free...would it make you happy to work for free? I think not. Good call Jane.

If you put beans in your chili, you don't know beans about chili.

I haven't tried the recipe in the book, but homemade chili is definitely one of my favorite meals on the TNT plan.

Sorry I thought the recipes for the other stuff like the pizza were from the book but after looking a little closer I see that they are not. My mistake.

tried the chili last night and was very impressed. tried using shredded cheese at first and it was ok but then i but in some kraft crumbles instead and it was so much better. just drop them in a hot bowl of chili and stir. yumm. my wife and i are thinking of trying to combine this recipe with a veggie chili recipe and see if we can make this a little chunkier with some vegetables but still keep the meat. but yeah i will definately do this again. especially since its good reheated for lunch.

I don't know either, but I do know that most of the book and several of the recipes are already published on the Men's Health web site. Several parts of the book are almost verbatim, and a person could very easily follow the plan without paying a cent by simply reading the articles and forum posts.

I didn't discover that until after I'd bought the book, but I would have went ahead and bought it anyway.
