TNT RecipesIf you have a yummy recipe that fits in with the Campbell and Voleck's new book, The TNT Diet, put it here. Or get some recipe ideas if you are bored with eating boiled eggs and tuna out of a can!
It holds together due to the cheese and eggs baking and setting first. Keep in mind it is much like a quiche so the smaller the pan(the thicker the batter when poured) the more the crust would be quiche like...the larger the pan(the thinnner the batter when poured)the more it is indeed pizza crust like. My wife and I relly like a thin crispy crust, so I may experiment with pouring even less batter next time...I was very good, held together and most importantly kept me from calling papa johns last night

I've made this twice so far and it's really good. My recommendation is to use only half the crust ingredients and it turns into more of a thin crispy pizza( when the crust is thicker its kinda eggy). I made mine with trader joes pepperoni and portabello mushrooms. I tried to add a pic of my pizza on this post but i can't figure out how to do so.
I concur with less "crust". I made it, but oven was too high and I got the crust overcooked. Added way to many toppings, but it still was delicious. I definitely will do this again. My goal is to have a 'thin' pizza where I can eat several pieces. One filled me up yesterday.
Well whoever made this didn't have an Italian Grandmother. Mine rolled in her grave when I called it pizza, but it was good for what it is, and I will have it again...
I also ate it for breakfast...It held together much better when it was cool, and I think tasted a little better too.
I made the pizza for lunch today and it turned out great. I only used three eggs so it wouldn't be to eggy tasting. I am going to let it cool a good bit longer next time before I dig in so the crust will settle in a little more. Great recipe!!
OK I tried a new crust for my TNT approved pizza, and I have to say I actually prefer this one. I am actually enjoying a slice right now while I watch UFC 81. You all try this one and tell me what you think...
Mix together 1 lb ground beef, 1 egg, 1 packet of taco seasoning. Pat out in a round baking dish like a pizza. Bake for 30 minutes at 350 degrees. Top with cheese of choice (I use a monterey jack blend) and put back in oven til melted.
Cut a slice of "pizza" and top it with shredded lettuce, salsa, sour cream, and you are good to go!
